SJP has finally responded to Kim Cattrall's Instagram

Kim Cattrall added to the rumours surrounding her alleged feud with SATC co-star Sarah Jessica Parker last week after she posted on Instagram stating the two weren't and never had been friends.

SJP had reached out to Kim Cattrall following news of her Kim's brother passing away, but the actress who played Samantha in the hit TV-show very publicly rejected her former colleagues word of support.

Kim has previously and publicly stated that she was never friends with SJP, and the last exchange between the two has further added fire to the supposed 'mean girls' culture behind Sex and the City.

In the past, SJP has admitted to being 'heartbroken' by Kim's claims.

When the actress, known for playing Carrie Bradshaw, was a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she said: 'I found it really upsetting because that's not the way I recall our experience.'

Ever since Kim's latest Instagram post, the world has been watching and waiting for SJP's response. And now we finally have one.

Speaking to People Magazine, she said: 'I never talked about it, except that some of us were disappointed. But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me.'

'We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other. So I don't want to mess with that,' she added.

'I couldn't imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded.'

So whilst SJP claims there never has been a feud, we can't help but notice she didn't comment on Kim's latest Instagram post...
