Sarah Jessica Parker has school-run style sussed as she strolls through New York City with adorable twins, Marion and Tabitha, and son James Wilkie.

The actress looked effortlessly cool in a double-breasted floral blue jacket with rolled up jeans as she mooched around that city of hers with her cute brood.

The 48-year-old Sex and the City star always tries her best to take the kids to school, managing to nail the super chic mum look in the process.

Despite her reputation as a style icon SJP says her twin daughters with Matthew Broderick, don't listen to their famous mum when it comes to fashion.

'We tell them nothing,' Parker told People of dressing Marion and Tabitha. 'We just give them the temperature outside and if they don't pick enough clothing, then we say, 'You need leggings or pants. You need to add something so you'll be warm enough.' That's all they listen to.''
