Sarah Jessica Parker's been applauded for her sense of style, her sell-out perfumes and her role in Sex And The City, but when she choose to have twins with a surrogate mother, the actress came in for fierce criticsm.
However, despite the tabloid sniping, Sarah Jessica says she doesn't regret her decision to use a surrogate mum and that it is not the end of the story.
'I knew there would be lots of opinions about, "Well, why didn't you adopt? Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that?" and the truth of the matter is, it wasn't one or the other for us,' SJP told US Elle. 'We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn't the period at the end of the sentence.'
In the interview, Sarah also refuted rumours of feuding between her and co-star Kim Cattrall, 'I don't think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn't have done the movie without her. Didn't and wouldn't.'
