The famous husband and wife duo were the star guests at the Love 'N' Courage annual benefit dinner in New York

Always ones to show their support for a good cause, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were the star guests at last night's Love 'N' Courage benefit gala in New York.

The husband and wife acting duo headed to the city's National Arts Club to attend the glitzy annual event, which supports funding for the TNC's Emerging Playwrights Programme in Manhattan.

After a string of sartorial hits in recent weeks that have put her firmly back on the fashion map, SJP pulled off another winning look last night in a chic polka dot dress worn with a bouclé cardigan and hot pink pumps for a pop of colour. Husband Matthew, meanwhile, looked suitably dapper in a pale grey suit, checked shirt, turquoise bow tie and black spectacles.

The Love 'N' Courage gala celebrates a different theatre legend each year, with last night's event in aid of the work of Charles Busch.
