The star is said to have visited a gallery to picked up the three brightly coloured Andy Warhol silkscreen prints, and was overheard telling staff she was buying them ‘as a present for a friend who had been very ill’.
And Sarah was obviously in the mood to shop, with no expense spared on the three pictures, which have now been sent off to be framed.
But it seems Miss Harding was lucky to get her hands on the sought after screen prints.
'The silkscreens are of Marilyn Monroe with big pink lips set on pink, black and silver backgrounds,' an insider revealed.
