After calling off her engagement to boyfriend of four years Tom Crane earlier this month, Sara Harding has said she is 'excited and scared' about being single at 30.
The Girls Aloud singer is remaining optimistic about her single status as she approaches her landmark birthday saying: ‘I’m excited, scared... I’m ready to take another leap. I’m entering a whole new chapter and it’s scary.'
'Hopefully, the best is yet to come. I feel a little more at ease with what’s going on in my life. I know where my career’s at. I know what I want out of life,' she told Look.
It is believed Harding called off the engagement with DJ Tom after the pair struggled with their long-distance relationship. She is based at home in Buckinghamshire while he has spent most of the summer working in Ibiza.
But not one to mope, Miss Harding will be keeping busy and focused on her career.
‘I’m just going to carry on as normal, doing what I do. I love to perform and entertainwhether that’s acting, singing or modelling. I nearly did X-Men. I got called back three times but January Jones got the role, she said. 'I don’t know if I would have been ready for it.'
