The Oscar-winning Blind Side star became increasingly close to Jesse’s three children, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and six-year-old Sunny from previous relationships during their five-year marriage.
And it seems Sandra's keen to draw a line under events in order to maintain a good relationship with the kids.
'The only reason that Sandy gave the green light to Jesse move to Austin was because she wants to maintain a relationship with his children,' one source told RadarOnline.
But the insider denied reports that Sandra was keen to reunite with her disgraced ex.

'Sandy loves those children but she has absolutely no intention of getting back together with Jesse, ever,' they continued. ‘She wanted the divorce done quickly, so that she could move on with her life.
'Sandy is civil to Jesse for the sake of the children, that is it. If there were no children, Sandy would have nothing to do with him, period. And he knows that.'
This comes just weeks after Sandra and Jesse formally put an end to their five-year marriage by signing the last official documents.
The pair - who split in April following Jesse's affair with tattoo model Michelle McGee - cited 'discord or conflict of personalities' as official reasons for the divorce, a rep for the star confirmed.
