Salma Hayek weds in Venice, with A-list-packed celebrations
Her first wedding to husband François-Henri Pinault may have been seriously low-key, but Salma Hayek more than made up for it this weekend, throwing a star-studded extravaganza to celebrate her nuptials.
Hayek first married Pinault, one of France's richest businessmen, on Valentine's Day, in an intimate civil ceremony only attended by family.

But the actress made sure she had the ultimate fairytale wedding this weekend, as the couple wed for a second time in a lavish weekend of festivities in Venice.
The celebrations kicked off on Friday, with a masquerade rehearsal dinner held in the decadent 17th century Punta Della Dogana.
The following day the couple exchanged their vows for a second time, at the 18th century La Fenice opera house.

Walking down the aisle in a sweeping custom made Balenciaga wedding gown, the bride looked stunning, with her hair swept into a bun beneath a flowing veil.
The couple's 19-month-old daughter Valentina made an adorable flower girl, alongside François-Henri's 8-year-old daughter Mathilde, from his first marriage.
With Hayek being one of Hollywood's most successful actresses, and Pinault the head of luxury goods giant PPR, the event was a who's who of the fashion and movie industries.
Akin to a Hollywood awards ceremony, stars in attendance included Charlize Theron, Stuart Townsend, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Edward Norton, Bono, Ashley Judd, and Woody Harrelson.
From the fashion world, Stella McCartney, Lily Cole, Anna Wintour and Gucci designer Frida Giannini brought a high dose of style.
The couple first met in May 2006, and announced both their engagement and Salma's pregnancy in May 2007.
