There are a lot of things we love about Ryan Reynolds, but we had all the sads for him when a photo popped up on social media of he and his wife, the lovely Blake Lively, celebrating July 4th at Taylor Swift’s house.
The image surfaced on Instagram and it showed three adorable couples hanging out being cute in front of the beachfront home. Taylor Swift was sitting on the lap of her then boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, and Taylor’s longtime friends sat on the right of the photo.
Right in the middle was the gorgeous Blake Lively sitting on Ryan Reynold’s lap and while every other couple seemed adorable and happy, there was Reynolds, looking sad.
The image went viral because it’s hilarious and everyone wanted to know why or how the Deadpool star could be so sad. Like, it shouldn’t be possible with the scenery he was looking at and well, his wife (can we all take a moment to appreciate the moment Ryan Reynolds fell in love with Blake? Classic)
The star sat down with Entertainment Weekly after they named him their Entertainer of the Year and they asked what was on all our minds, what was up with that photo? Was he really sad?
