Will the Royal family break tradition this Easter?
Dun, dun dunnnn...
Pregnant Meghan Markle isn't the only one who could throw a spanner in the works
Words by Maisie Bovingdon
The Royal family could celebrate Easter very differently to previous years this weekend, and there are a number of reasons why.
The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and wife Duchess Camilla, as well as Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle usually attend an Easter service at St. George's chapel in Windsor, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed last year, on Easter Sunday.
In the run up to the religious festivities the monarch will visit numerous cathedrals around the country as part of her Maundy Money tradition, which sees the Queen hand coins out to 80 men and women.
However, this year the Queen's ACTUAL birthday, 21 April, falls on Easter Sunday. Could this throw a huge spanner in the works?
Although Liz officially marks her special day on the second Saturday in June, known as Trooping The Colour, will she plan a party for this weekend?

The monarch isn't the only one due a birthday bash, as Kate and Will's youngest baby Prince Louis will celebrate his first birthday on 23 April, just one day after Easter Monday - but will he mark the milestone in advance on this weekend?
But another issue could throw royal customs into disarray - the royal baby.
Meghan is due to give birth to her first baby with Prince Harry any time now, and while they have yet to confirm their attendance at the church service this weekend, it is assumed they may opt out of the gathering.
It's a busy month to be a royal!
