Who will be baby Sussex's godparents?
HINT: It's unlikely to be a relative
Words by Maisie Bovingdon
Meghan Markle is tipped to give birth to her and Prince Harry's first child any day now.
Prince Charles, Daniel Martin and even the Duke of Sussex have hinted to when we can expect the royal baby, although the couple will not announce the news with a picture of them cradling their newborn on the steps of the Lindo Wing like Kate Middleton and Princess Diana.
While some are speculating over baby names, and the gender of the little one, others are trying to work out who will receive the honour and be baby Sussex's godparents.
Betting company Ladbrokes have put odds on who could take the title - and it may surprise you who is in the running.
Harry's BFF Charlie Van Straubenzee and Meghan's close friend Jessica Mulroney are the current frontrunners to take the title, as Charlie's odds are 1/8, while the stylist is at 1/3.
Harry and Charlie have been as thick as thieves ever since they met at Ludgrove school. The 34-year-old royal struck up a friendship with Charlie's late brother Henry, and swiftly bonded with Charlie.

Prince William is also friends with the family, as Charlie's sibling, Thomas, is Princess Charlotte's godfather, so it makes sense for Charlie to be baby Sussex's godfather, right?
While Jessica has been Meghan's confidante for many years, and her children had a major role in Meghan and Harry's royal wedding last year.
But there is also talk Prince William and Kate Middleton could take on the role.
However, royal tradition means uncles and aunts miss out on being godparents as they have a special role already, and godparents are often friends. Lets also remind ourselves Harry is not a godfather to any of the Cambridge brood.
But Meghan tends to break royal protocol, so could so buck the trend once more?
The former Suits actress is a godmother to Benita Litt's two children, so will the star return the favour?
There is also growing speculation Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams - who planned Meghan's New York baby shower - as well as David Beckham, George and Amal Clooney or Sir Elton John could also be chosen, after all a child can have more than one godparent. Look at Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who all have over five godparents each.
