Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie grew up in an actual castle and you can now rent it on Airbnb

This week, it was (finally) revealed that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are engaged, after months of speculation and even a few denials from Kit himself. And if they're looking for a right nice castle for their wedding party they needn't look any further than Rose's childhood home. The 30-year-old actress literally grew up in a grand Scottish castle, and you know what is even better? It's up for rent on Airbnb.
Yes, that's right. If you fancy spending time in Lickleyhead Castle, Aberdeenshire, the home where an actual Game of Thrones star grew up, then now is your chance. While her GOT character, Ygritte, was more of an ice hut kinda girl, Rose's childhood was spent in this enormous castle, which boasts seven bedrooms, a great hall, and medieval open fireplaces. The Airbnb listing has fantastic reviews, but don't take our word for it - just have a look at the pictures.
When you arrive at your destination, you'll notice there are, quite literally, more windows on one side of the castle than you have rooms in your own house. While we're really hoping you opt out of an incestuous open-window frolic (looking at you, Jaime and Cersei), just think of all the wistful gazing you can do while you plot your enemies' downfalls.
There is, of course, a feast room, ready to accommodate you and your guests while you tuck into your banquet - which will probably include delicacies like wild boar and peacock now that you're technically Medieval royalty. FYI - Frays are not invited.
Where better to let your dinner digest than in this beautifully ornate sitting room? Put your feet up and pretend you're a pre-gout Henry VII while you get your maid (friend) to feed you grapes.

Obviously your house help will be in this gorgeous, stone kitchen cooking up tasty surprises. It's all pretty posh - there are ladles hanging from the ceiling, for Christ's sake. Just remember not to let Arya in there while your servants are baking pies.
If you like your bathrooms underground, you're in luck! This castle has it all. Plus, in the case of a Lannister attack, you'll get yourself to safety in no time with these authentic castle tunnels - and you can wash regularly while you wait for help. Genius.
After a hard day's work at the castle, retire to your punchy turquoise chamber where a four poster bed awaits you. With any luck, Rose will have left Kit Harington behind.
If you're a Game of Thrones fan, this is quite literally the perfect getaway. Round up your friends/servants and get yourself to Lickleyhead Castle, asap.
