Robert Pattinson has vowed to get in shape after claiming that he's the only actor in Hollywood 'without a six pack'.

The Twilight heartthrob, who's in no way short of admiring fans (hello, entire MC team), has said he needs to get in shape for some near-naked scenes he'll be filming for his upcoming movies. And breathe.

Rob is currently busy filming Maps To The Stars and has several other films in the pipeline for the next few months, but he admits that he's missed out on many roles because he's just not buff enough.

Talking to Harpers Bazaar Arabia, he said: 'I think I don't get some jobs because I don't go to the gym. I am literally the only actor in LA who doesn't have a six pack. Although I am going to have to change that. In my next film I have like three intimate scenes so I am literally thinking of those to get in shape.'

Those of us who were considering hitting R-Patz's local gym hoping for a quick glimpse of the actor will be disappointed, though. Since the star insists he won't be working out in public.

He says: 'No, I don't ever want anyone to see me doing exercise. Even though I am doing it, I still think it's so lame and embarrassing - I am doing it out of necessity, that's all.'

We don't think you need to do it at all, Rob. AT. ALL.
