Rob and Kristen will reportedly attend the famous Cannes Film Festival to premiere their new movies

We've spent many a day wishing Twilight super-couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would attend more red carpet events together - and now it seems our wish might be about to come true.

According to reports, it's all but confirmed the pair will attend the famous Cannes Film Festival together, which kicks off in the South of France in May.

Rob and Kristen have been keeping a low profile of late, ever since finishing work on the first installment of final vampire movie, Twilight Breaking Dawn.

And aside from being snapped on a few secret date nights - the pair hit LA last week to watch pal Marcus Foster's gig - they've hardly been seen.

So we're delighted so hear that's all about to change.

With two upcoming films to promote - Kristen's Jack Kerouac adaptation On the Road, and Rob's David Cronenberg's thriller Cosmopolis - insiders say it's all but certain the couple will hit Cannes this summer, after the Hollywood reporter unveiled the films being previewed.

They may be going head to head with their new movies as they work the red carpet at the festival, but that still leaves a whole host of glittering bashes they could attend together.

The official Cannes line-up won't be revealed until April 19, so watch this space...
