After days of speculation about Robert Pattinson's 'mystery redhead', a spokesperson has confirmed what's REALLY going on – and it'll surprise you
Robert Pattinson fans will rejoice in reports this morning that the Twilight actor is still single. It's been confirmed by Riley Keough's rep that she is not dating Rob, contrary to rumours.
A spokesperson for redheaded actress told US site JustJared.com: 'Riley isn't dating Rob.'
Sources in Hollywood were claiming that the pair were an item after Rob was spotted driving around LA in his red pick-up truck with a redheaded woman in the passenger seat and a ping pong table in the back. All assumed that Rob had taken the actress on a ping pong date, and that they were more than just friends. But Riley's rep has revealed that she wasn't even in the truck.
They said: 'And I can confirm that Riley was not photographed at all this weekend.' Oh.
Riley Keough is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and an actress in her own right. She appeared alongside Kristen Stewart in the 2010 movie The Runaways and was spotted at Kristen's intimate birthday meal in LA back in April, with Rob and a bunch of his friends. Hence why it was assumed the hot redhead was Riley.
Robert Pattinson rocked up Beyoncé's Staples Center gig in LA this week without a date, and on Monday he'll head to Toronto for the rest of the summer to film his new David Cronenberg-directed movie, Maps To The Stars, alongside Julianne Moore and John Cusack. So for now, it looks like he really is riding solo.
So who was the redhead on the ping pong date? We're sure she'll be revealed soon. If it was us, we'd be shouting it from the rooftops…
