The two friends partied in New York on Friday ahead of the Met Ball
Robert Pattinson clearly enjoys female company – when he can’t be with Kristen Stewart he’ll do the next best thing and spend time with the couple’s mutual friend, Katy Perry, which is exactly what he did on Friday night.

As New York turned into a mini LA over the weekend what with every A-lister in town for the Met Ball, Robert Pattinson enjoyed a relaxed evening with Katy Perry. According to Heat the British actor joined the signer and two female friends for a relaxed evening at the Gemma Wine Room at the Bowery Hotel.
But the night didn’t end there! After enjoying a meal the group headed to the hotel bar where Robert’s close friend Tom Sturridge joined them.

It’s not the first time Katy Perry has stepped in to play surrogate party partner for Robert Pattinson either, last Wednesday they headed to a Daughter gig at the Bowery Ballroom before heading to the Trump SoHo hotel along with their group of friends.
Sounds as if these two know how to party!
On Monday night though after the Met Ball, Robert was finally given the chance to spend some time with Kristen Stewart, as they went for dinner.
