The David Cronenberg-directed film, which has already come out in the UK and is due for US release on 17 August, is premiering in New York on 13 August, and sees Pattinson tackling the role of a young billionaire whose life and fortune are at risk.
While Pattinson hasn't been confirmed to walk the red carpet on the 13th - he has yet to make a public appearance following his split with fellow Twilight star Kristen Stewart after her infidelities with director Rupert Sanders emerged - but the actor is scheduled to attend a talk promoting the film hosted by the New York Times on 15 August.
