Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart 'won't be in same room' during Twilight promotions

Plans are being put in place so that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart can have as little contact as possible during the Twilight promotional tour

From the moment we found out that Kristen Stewart had cheated on Robert Pattinson, we were left wondering how the upcoming promotional tour for Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2 would pan out and it looks like it's going to be as awkward as we imagined.

The cast of Twilight, including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, have a string of red carpet appearances and interviews scheduled ahead of the film's release in November.

Almost as soon as the news broke that Kristen had been having an affair with Rupert Sanders, Summit Entertainment released a statement reassuring fans that the scandal would not affect the new Twilight film.

But since then both Rob and Kristen have pulled out of four official Twilight conventions which has left fans worrying about how the pair will handle having to walk the red carpet together at the Breaking Dawn premiere.

An insider has told Hollywoodlife.com, that Summit are putting plans in place to ensure that Rob and Kristen can avoid each other as much as possible during the press tour.

'Kristen Stewart is definitely still in love with Rob and is going through the motions of a breakup.'

They then added: 'She really wants him back but Rob is not interested in talking to her right now and that is certainly making things difficult for the plans on doing any press together for when Twilight comes out.'

The source explained keeping Kristen, 22, and Rob, 26, staying separate during the press tour is a high priority.

'Chances of them being in the same room is highly unlikely. They are going to have the timing of interviews timed out to prevent awkward encounters.'
