The publicity-shy couple celebrated away from the crowds over the holidays.

Super famous Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart started the New Year in style, celebrating together away from the crowds.

Reports suggest the rumoured couple partied on the Isle of Wight as they welcomed in 2010.

Just last week the hotter-than-hot Mr Pattinson jetted back to the UK for a family Christmas, and was spotted outside his London home with sister Lizzy.

So it comes as no surprise that the super famous star decided not to go stateside to see in the New Year.

Rob and rumoured girlfriend Kristen were snapped indulging in a spot of shopping and enjoying the sights on the Isle of Wight.

Shunning the Caribbean beaches many of their fellow celebs favour during this time of year, the vampy pair instead chose the small town of Ventnor to travel to.

The pics - posted on various fan sites - confirm the couple were definitely in the area, and were happy to pose for shots with the lucky fan who spotted them.

Dressing down for the trip, the pair donned hooded jackets for their outing, obviously trying to blend in with the crowd.

We doubt they'll be back to work this morning!
