Rihanna may like to party hard but she also works incredibly hard, and last night was no exception as she continued with the London leg of her 777 tour. The singer touched down in the capital and headed straight to Westfield Stratford to (literally) light up the city.
RIHANNA KICKS OF 777 TOUR BY BUYING CHAMPAGNE FOR ENTIRE PLANE
And that she did, as she flicked the festive switch and turned on the shopping centre’s Christmas lights. She braved the British climate by embracing the current voluminous trend in an oversized stripped trouser suit from Acne’s menswear collection, teaming it with a sharp collared white shirt and Raf Simons blazer. Feminine touches were added with a slick of red lipstick and grey suede pumps.
After her appearance at Westfield, Rihanna took to the stage for a surprise gig as she continued full throttle on her current 777 tour, which sees the star embark on seven gigs in seven cities in seven days and it also neatly coincides with the release of her seventh album, Unapologetic.
While fans screamed that the show was a success, the strain of the gruelling schedule seemed to be having an effect on Rihanna as she was three hours late to perform at the Kentish Town Forum.

Although a little thing little timing wouldn’t effect the powerhouse that is Rihanna as she sung a compilation of her biggest hits including Umbrella, Diamond, We Found Love as well as tracks from her new album.
For her stage show, Rihanna ditched the idea of wearing men’s clothing and instead stripped down into a pointed leopard print bralet and a white trouser suit complete with hand motifs. She added her signature sexiness with pink stilettos and large sunglasses.
Rihanna’s fierce fashion wasn’t the only part to be applauded, she may have been exhausted but she stayed a true professional. During Talk That Talk she stopped singing and complained about the quality of the backing track, even chastising her sound engineers. Clearly she wanted it perfect for her fans and it most certainly was.
