It’s thought the Barbados-born star has landed second place on the musical line-up, after US giant Eminem.
Also confirmed at the famous festival – taking place on August 20 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park in Staffordshire – are Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, Irish rockers The Script, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, Duran Duran and Tinie Tempah.
It’s thought Manic Street Preachers, Scouting For Girls, N-Dubz, Hurts, Ellie Goulding and The Saturdays will also play the festival.
‘The breadth of accomplished talent performing throughout the weekend on the other stages is also something that we are very proud of, with heavyweight acts including Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Chase and Status and Duran Duran joining the party,’ said V Festival director Bob Angus.
