She’s had everything from a short black bob and a half-shaved quiff to bright red corkscrew curls and platinum blonde tresses, but Rihanna’s latest hairstyle is one of her more bizarre looks.
The singer was pictured whilst out and about in New York with the same blonde shoulder-length hair that she’s been sporting for the last few months, but with a large section of dark roots at the parting.
Rihanna has long been a fan of wigs to alternate her hair’s length, colour and style quickly without the damage to her real hair, and on closer inspection, it appears that her latest look is yet another new wig.
The superstar songstress is in New York to shoot an advertising campaign for Vita Coco Coconut Water, which will be snapped by photographer Terry Richardson. Rihanna later uploaded a close-up picture of her hair whilst smoking a cigarette onto Twitter with the caption: ‘Terry Richardson is the ultimate #BadAss’.
This isn’t the first bizarre look the pop star has worn since arriving in New York. Earlier this week, she flashed her chest by going bra-less in a weird sheer black mesh top/jumper whilst heading out to dinner in the Big Apple.
