Rihanna loves to cause a stir - and anyone who follows her Instagram pages knows that she has no problem baring her body for the world. (Seriously. Bum, boobs - it's all fair game.)

So we shouldn't have been surprised to see the see-through mesh top she wore to the Balmain after-party during Paris Fashion Week.

While we don't blink an eye seeing gorgeous, sheer tops on the runway, there was something about seeing her nipples in plan view while she casually relaxed on the sofa that caught us off guard.

But our girl RiRi is nothing if not confident. She happily partied the night away, cosying up to Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls (who both looked like they were dressed for a business meeting, in comparison).

Also kicking back at the star-studded soiree were Jessica Alba, rocking slim leather trousers and bright-pink lippy, and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, who walked in the show for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, Rihanna - who's the new face of the brand - seemed more than pleased to spend time with Balmain's handsome creative director, Olivier Rousteing.

She shared a series of Instagram snaps from earlier in the day, showing her palling around with the designer backstage. '@olivier_rousteing my fashion soul mate!!! #Balmain #backstagelife #PFW,' she wrote.

And in case you're curious, RiRi's nipples did not make an appearance in the FROW. Instead, she chose an uber-chic Balmain leather jacket and matching olive pencil skirt for the runway show.
