Chloe Madeley arrested for drink-driving, after abandoning overturned car

Richard and Judy's daughter, Chloe Madeley, has been arrested for drink-driving, after her car was discovered abandoned, and overturned. The 22-year-old was arrested, after police discovered her Peugeot 206 on its roof in the early hours of Sunday morning, left on a residential street in Barnet. It had hit a parked mini, before being abandoned.

Checks revealed that the car belonged to Miss Madeley, and she was later arrested and breathalysed at her parent's Hampstead Heath house on Sunday, before being taken to the local police station and charged.

A Scotland Yard officer stated: 'Chloe Madeley, 22, is due to appear on bail at Hendon Magistrates' Court on September 2 charged with drink driving.'

Miss Madeley's spokesman confirmed that Chloe had hit a parked car at 3.30am on Sunday morning, and commented, 'Chloe was not hurt and no one else was involved. A routine police breath test showed her alcohol level to be slightly over the legal limit. Chloe would like to apologise for her actions and accepts full responsibility for the damage caused.'

This is not the first time that Chloe has hit the headlines this year. After her father, Richard had proudly proclaimed in an interview, 'Both our kids are incredibly anti-drugs, they have friends that do them but they actively discourage it,' pictures emerged of his daughter smoking cannabis at a party.

Miss Madeley issued an apology, calling her action, 'really stupid.'
