The Oscar-winner gushed she was 'so lucky' to work with R-Patz on Water For Elephants

Reese Witherspoon broke a thousand hearts when she landed the role of leading lady and Robert Pattinson’s love interest in brand new, circus-themed flick Water for Elephants. And if that wasn't enough to make us jealous, now Reese has been gushing about her gorgeous co-star, and how she was 'so lucky' to work with him on the film.

Based on Sara Gruen’s best selling book, Rob plays veterinary student Jacob who runs away to join a circus, in the hot new 1930s-set movie.

The romantic storyline sees Mr Pattinson fall for dazzling performer Marlene – played by lovely Reese – who is married to the fierce circus ringleader, after they bond over circus Elephant Rosie.

Now Reese has spoken out about landing the coveted role, gushing about how she enjoyed working with 'amazing' R-Patz.

‘I am so lucky,' she joked to Entertainment Weekly of sharing some steamy love scenes the star. ‘He's so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup.

‘I mean, he's just so good looking and he's a really nice person,’ she added.

And this isn’t the first time Rob and Reese have worked together. The smouldering Twi-star played Reese’s son in 2004 hit, Vanity Fair.

‘He was walking down this corridor and I turned to the director and I said, “That's my son? He's so good looking,' “ she laughed of the first time they met. ‘I was like, “He's so hot!”’
