The young mum of two admits she struggled to stay in the show, after the price of missing her children was almost too much
X Factor hopeful Rebecca Ferguson has admitted she almost quit the show to be with her kids, after the pressure of being so far from home became too much. SEE OUR LATEST X FACTOR PICS HERE!
The mum of two revealed that she couldn’t stand to be away from her two children Lillie May, five, and Karl, four.
‘I’ve been missing my kids,’ she said. ‘It has been a big sacrifice. I’ve missed their birthdays, I’ve missed their first days at school. I actually found myself thinking, “Is it going to be worth it?” I got a bit unsure about it.’
In an effort to keep her in the show, bosses let the star dash home to her children in Liverpool, and luckily now she has the final in sight.
‘I’ve been told just to enjoy it now,’ she told The Metro. ‘There’s two weeks left.’
‘I’ve come a long way from the girl who looked at the floor. I am willing to give it. Go watch the first audition because it was pants.’

Rebecca also stepped in to defend former fellow contestant Katie Waissel, saying, ‘No doubt she was an actress but she didn’t deserve what she got.
