Rachel Stevens 'shaken' after muggers rob her engagement ring at her front door
Rachel Stevens was left in shock yesterday after being mugged for her engagement ring in broad daylight on her front doorstep.
The pint-sized pop star was accosted by three attackers, who, it is believed, followed her home to her £800,000 North London pad after a day’s shopping.
The robbers reportedly shouted: ‘Give us the f***ing stuff!’ after demanding she remove the ring given to her by fiancé Alex Bourne, as well as her necklace and a Rolex watch.
The distressed star then called police, who arrived quickly on the scene after the 4pm attack.
The former S Club 7 star is due to marry Family Affairs actor Alex, 31, in France in August.
Rachel’s spokeswoman confirmed the mugging last night, saying: ‘Rachel did experience an intrusion and is shaken but otherwise OK.’
