We’re only just getting over the Chris Pratt and Anna Faris divorce news and now, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have driven another stake into our hearts. The couple, who have been married for over ten years, are said to have split and apparently they don’t even live together anymore.
According to US Weekly, a source revealed, ‘They’ve been on the outs for a couple of [months]. They are completely, officially done.’
Rachel and Hayden met in 2007 on the set of Jumper, where they took their on-screen romance into their private lives. A year later, they were engaged - though they haven’t had the smoothest of relationships.
The couple allegedly called off their engagement in 2010 and Rachel appeared on the red carpet ringless. After being quizzed about whether the wedding was well and truly off, she pointed to her finger and said, ‘No, no plans. No nothing.’
However, the couple were reunited the year after. Back in 2013, Rachel talked to Cosmopolitan about her relationship with Hayden and said, ‘I’m a really good girlfriend - I always put all that first in my life. I’m definitely the person who would make him his favourite dinner to come home to. I love to cook, so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies.’
While it appears that they were never actually married (who knows with them though, they’re very private), they do have one daughter together called Briar Rose - named after a popular fairytale character.

Hayden explained to Hallmark’s Home & Family, ‘The original Sleeping Beauty is called Briar Rose… Rachel was very keen on the name, [and] we have Disney songs playing around the house 24/7 right now.’
The news hasn’t been confirmed yet, however US Weekly’s source revealed the couple apparently don’t even live together - in fact, they’re not even in the same country.
‘She’s full-time back in LA. He’s here in Toronto,’ they said.
Well, that would make having a relationship difficult. We hope that the couple are taking this time to heal and recover from their split, though we’re getting nervous about our other favourite Hollywood couples. (Fergie and Josh Duhamel, we loved you well.)
