Tarantino reveals how his leading man, Brad Pitt, offered him cannabis
Quentin Tarantino has well and truly dropped new pal Brad Pitt in it, revealing that the movie star offered him drugs ahead of their filming stint together for Inglourious Basterds.
No doubt incurring the wrath of his leading lady, Angelina Jolie, Brad had apparently promised his pot-smoking days were behind him, now he’s firmly steeped in fatherhood duties.
However, director Tarantino let the cat out the bag speaking on the controversial Howard Stern show in America, whilst promoting his latest movie.
The Pulp Fiction director revealed Brad reached for cannabis whenever he needed an extra aid to relax. And he didn’t stop there. Tarantino confessed the ‘coolest’ thing Brad did when the pair discussed his possible role in the new movie was ‘pull out a brick of hash’ and offer it up.
According to the cult director, Brad then gave Tarantino an empty fizzy drink can to fashion as a pipe to smoke with.
On the promotional trail to push Inglourious Basterds, Tarantino also appeared on the Letterman show in the States and continued his wind-up, telling the chat show host that Brad had ‘slept on the job’ while filming was in progress.

‘We usually try to discourage sleeping on the set, but it can happen from time to time,’ he said. ‘Because Brad has a big family at home, sleeping on the set is the only time he gets to sleep.'
We hope Brad (and Angelina’s) sense of humour is firmly in check…
