Princess Diana was honoured in the most lovely way during the wedding ceremony
And it's very emotional
And it's very emotional
Prince Harry ensured that his mother was included in yesterday's wedding proceedings – and, spoilers, it'll bring a tear to your eye once you spot it.
The service was perfect, from the gospel choir's performance of Stand By Me, to Reverend Curry's energetic sermon and this moment between Meghan and Harry when children were mentioned.
The late Princess Diana was tragically killed in a car accident almost 20 years ago and, since then, her sons William and Harry have done everything they can to honour her memory.
Meghan Markle, who wore a custom Givenchy dress designed by Clare Waight Keller, honoured Princess Diana with her wedding bouquet – but it's thought that this wasn't the only tribute paid to her on the day.
If you look carefully at the royal family below, you'll notice that a seat next to Prince William was left empty, which many believe Prince Harry purposefully did to mark where his mother should have been.

The more likely reason is that the seat was left empty so that the Queen had a clear, unobstructed view of the proceedings; but we know Prince Harry would have wanted to include his mother as much as possible, and so we prefer to think of the seat being Diana's.
Before their reception at Frogmore House, Prince Harry gifted Meghan something that belonged to his mother, a gesture we're sure was a very emotional moment between the couple.

Congratulations again to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
