Princess Beatrice just made it official with her new boyfriend
And it’s a match made in heaven…
And it’s a match made in heaven…

A-listers, models and royals filled the rooms of the National Portrait Gallery on Tuesday for their annual Portrait Gala.
From the Beckhams and Jourdan Dunn to the Duchess of Cambridge, the guest list was star-studded, but eyes (and definitely the papers) focused instead on Princess Beatrice’s new boyfriend.
The Princess announced that she was in a relationship with Italian businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi - or ‘@edomm’ according to his Twitter handle - in December last year. And now, three months on, the couple have made their relationship even more official by posing for photographs together at the A-list Gala.
Beatrice wore a deep maroon velvet dress, perfect to protect her from the winds of Storm Gareth, and her new partner donned a trusty tuxedo, with an eye-catching racing stripe on the legs.
The pair became an item after having been family friends for some time. Edoardo is stepson to the late Christopher Shale, who was a politician and close friend to former Prime Minister David Cameron. Princess Beatrice, her mother Sarah Ferguson and her father Prince Andrew were among the guests at Shale’s funeral in 2011, after he tragically passed away at Glastonbury Festival.

But who is Edoardo? Well, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is CEO of Banda Property, a London-based property company specialising in ‘bespoke design for living’… essentially building big houses for big bucks. And it doesn’t stop there - he is a founder of the charity Cricket Builds Hope, which funds the construction of cricket grounds in Rwanda.
A business brain and a big heart? It looks like Mozzi ticks all of the boxes for Princess Beatrice.
