Prince William will reportedly be supporting Prince Harry’s lawsuit

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made waves last week as they announced they were taking legal action against the Mail on Sunday after the tabloid had published a private letter that Meghan Markle had written to her father, Thomas Markle.
‘I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces’, Prince Harry explained, referring to the constant online abuse his wife has faced since becoming a royal.
‘There comes a point when the only thing to do is to stand up to this behaviour, because it destroys people and destroys lives. Put simply, it is bullying, which scares and silences people. We all know this isn’t acceptable, at any level. We won’t and can’t live in a world where there is no accountability for this.’
The legal action that may see Meghan forced to testify against her father Thomas Markle has proven controversial, with the couple announcing their news while on royal tour.
According to Princess Diana’s former butler however, one person who will support his decision is Prince William.
‘The brothers have vowed that no one will be allowed unwanted access to those they love,’ Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler, explained to Us Weekly. ‘[Harry and Meghan] made it clear that they wish to live their lives their own way. They make their own decisions as a family and let very few people into their inner circle.’
It’s good to see the brothers have each other’s backs.
