He may be the future King of England, but Prince William treated his lucky wife Kate Middleton to a cheap and cheerful date night earlier this week – a trip to the cinema.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spied visiting the Cineworld in Llandudno Junction, Wales on their bargain evening out, to see an 8pm showing of hilarious new movie The Inbetweeners.

Onlookers revel the royal couple dressed down for their evening outing, sneaking in a side entrance at the cinema, but stopping for some all-important popcorn on the way.

And it seems romance was in the air for the pair, who had their arms around each other as they strolled in to the small cinema to choose a seat.

‘They looked like they were in a world of their own,’ one insider told American magazine People.

‘He had his arm around her waist as they walked in, as if he was guiding her.

‘They looked just like any other young couple enjoying a night at the cinema.’
