The UK trailer for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (yep, you read that right) has landed today making us extremely excited for next year's release. The film, which is based on the 2009 parody novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, stars Lily James and Douglas Booth as some ass-kicking zombie haters.
The story is basically Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice but with zombies roaming around the English countryside. A mysterious plague falls upon 19th century and Elizabeth Bennet is now a master of martial arts and weaponry. Lily - who plays Elizabeth Bennett - has said: 'You have to kill them twice. You have to get them in the brain. Then they’re screwed and never coming back... At times, I had a leather corset and tight pants and other times, a big skirt that I could lift up and kick them in the head.'
Speaking about James' portrayal of the much-loved literary heroine Elizabeth Bennett, Sam Riley, who co-stars as the dashing Mr Darcy said: 'She’s going to be one of the best Elizabeth Bennett's - if not the best. She’s certainly the most kickass. She’s got a very natural and unforced charm that I think is perfect for Lizzie Bennett.'
The film also stars hottie Douglas Booth as Mr. Bingley, Suki Waterhouse as Kitty Bennet and Matt Smith as Mr. Collins.

The film will be released across the UK on 12th February 2016. Just in time for Valentine's Day then...
