In the lead up to Pippa Middleton’s nuptials, there’s been a lot of talk about what’s going on from the extravagant price tag to her no bling no ring policy. More news has emerged on social media that apparently Pippa Middleton's wedding guests have been asked to do something a little unexpected.
The lucky few attending the luxe affair have been asked to bring not one, but two outfits for her May 20 wedding to hedge fund manager James Matthews. One outfit will be for the ceremony at St Mark’s Church in her hometown Englefield and the other will be for the reception. While the rumour hasn't been officially verified, it wouldn't be totally surprising for the high society event.
Although it’s normally expected that the bride will change into something a little more comfortable for her reception to dance the night away, guests aren’t usually asked to follow suit. (Then again, this isn’t exactly a normal wedding).
The invitees expected to make a quick outfit change include Pippa’s royal sister Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry. While it was initially thought that Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle would not be allowed to attend, Pippa waived her no bling no ring requirement for the Suits actress.
Pippa Middleton and her royal sister Kate Middleton are both famed for their stylish yet elegant looks, with Kate’s Alexander McQueen wedding dress providing fairytale fodder for years to come. While everyone’s been hush hush on which lucky designer is dressing Pippa for her big day, at least we know we’ll have a second reception outfit to fawn over too.
