Last month, royal maid of honour Pippa Middleton shot to fame around the world, after stepping out at William and Kate’s wedding in that McQueen dress.

And now it seems the younger Middleton could be set to steal her sister’s popularity crown, after rocketing to the top of the most talked about list.

According to analysts,Pippa’s popularity has shot up in recent weeks, while media coverage of the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has dropped a whopping 94 per cent.

Last week, more than 60 stories were broadcast and printed about the 27-year-old, taking in everything from her high street style, to her brand new job.

And experts predict this is just the start of Pippa’s popularity climb, with focus moving away from Prince William and Kate Middleton as they go about married life in Anglesey.

‘It comes as no surprise that Kate's media profile rose to such heights immediately before and after the Royal Wedding,’ Brian Merron from Kantar Media Intelligence told the Telegraph.

‘But it's fascinating to see the post-wedding emergence of her sister Pippa in the UK media.

‘Her rise has been meteoric, to the extent that two weeks after the wedding Pippa overtakes Kate in our media survey.

‘With the media focus now moving on from the newlyweds it's safe to say that Pippa Middleton's celebrity status is well and truly set to climb and climb.’
