The New York City Ballet Spring Gala is always a glamorous affair, and this year’s event, held last night in the heart of Manhattan, was no exception.
Leading the style charge was Hollywood beauty Natalie Portman who dazzled on the NYC red carpet in a midnight blue tiered halter neck gown by Christian Dior, which she teamed with a black clutch and jewellery also by the French label.
Natalie was joined by her ballet dancer husband, Benjamin Millepied, at the event, which was held at the city’s Lincoln Centre – where the couple first met when shooting scenes for the ballet thriller Black Swan back in 2010.

And the Black Swan connections didn’t end there. Rodarte sister design duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy, who helped create many of the costumes worn in the film, were in attendance too.
Drew Barrymore added a further dose of glamour to proceedings in a flowing white Chanel ensemble that dressed her growing baby bump impeccably, while fiancé Will Kopelman opted for a classic black tux.
