The director's daughter wed rocker beau Thomas Mars in an Italian ceremony on Saturday
In what must be one of the most stylish weddings of the year so far, film-maker Sophie Coppola married her rocker beau Thomas Mars in an intimate ceremony at the family's villa in Bernalda, Italy over the weekend.
The blushing bride walked down the aisle in a swoon-worth custom-made lavender Azzedine Alaia dress, on the arm of her famous director father Francis Ford Coppola.
It's thought Sophie and German Phoenix rocker Thomas exchanged their vows in a simple ceremony in the garden of the Coppola family's sprawling Palazzo Margherita home in the city.
The pair were watched by 80 guests, including actor Johnny Depp, and Star Wars creator George Lucas.
Afterwards the beaming bride changed into a red evening gown for a low-key outdoor reception, held for family and friends.

This is the second marriage for Sofia. The Oscar-winner wed director Spike Jonez, but the pair split just one year later.
