The actress has dramatically changed her look for new film, A Bitter Pill
Rooney Mara was unrecognisable on the set of The Bitter Pill in New York City yesterday.
In her guise as Lisbeth Salander in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', Rooney Mara rocks a sharp angular black hair 'do, numerous tattoos and plenty of piercings - a far cry from the wholesome image she channels for her latest role.
ROONEY MARA: STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS
The 26-year-old has completely transformed herself again, this time debuting long, blondish locks and minimal make-up, covering up in a smart beige trench coat.
The actress has been showcasing her latest conservative look on the set of The Bitter Pill in NYC, a film about a young woman who descends into madness after becoming addicted to prescription drugs as a way of coping with her abusive husband's impending release from prison.
The film also stars Blake Lively, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Channing Tatum, Jude Law and will be in cinemas in 2014.
