The star was out and about in the capital over the weekend, conducting an interview as she walked along the River Thames

All has been quiet on the Gaga front recently. But the star was back with a bang over the weekend, taking to the streets of London for a spot of sightseeing.

Lady G was back in the capital to resume her world tour, after taking some time out to work on her second album, Born This Way.

And as per usual, it was no ordinary trip for the star.

Wearing a super-sheer, lacy dress, tights and her towering heels (we’d like to see you run for the train in those, Lady G!) the star took to the streets, walking along the Southbank and taking in the River Thames as she conducted an interview with CNN.

'About to do my very first interview for Born This Way I’m so excited and happy! Have all little monsters in my heart to carry with me xx MM’ she Tweeted to followers shortly beforehand.

And not content with just one bizarre interview location, it seems the star was feeling thirsty, and tottered – complete with cameras and giant entourage – into The Raven pub in Chiswick, where she sat sipping a scotch on the rocks.

Hair and make-up stylists were spotted zooming in on the star for a quick hair and make-up touch up, before she was ready for her second interview of the day, held in the back room of the bar.
