The pair put on a rare display of affection, snuggling up on the set of Angelina's latest film in Budapest

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie put on a rare PDA over the weekend, snuggling up and exchanging tender kisses on the set of Ange’s directorial debut in Budapest.

Wrapped up against the cold in warm padded jackets and winter boots, the pair shared an intimate moment when the cameras stopped rolling, wrapping their arms around each other for a series of smooches behind the scenes.

But after treating herself to a tea break with Brad, it was back to work for Angelina, who stepped in to talk to camera men and cast, setting up the next show.

Lovely Mr Pitt has been spied visiting Angelina on set a number of times in recent weeks, eager to lend a hand as she shoots her first movie. 

And Ange swiftly put him to work, getting him to carry equipment and set up cameras.

In fact the whole Pitt-Jolie clan have decamped to Budapest for the duration of Angelina’s latest project, an untitled film, which tells the bitter wartime love story of a Bosnian Woman and Serbian man.

The famous family are said to have set up home in a sprawling countryside pad in the Hungarian capital, with Brad whizzing in and out of the gated residence on his motorbike, taking trips out and about while his other half is working.

Angelina has faced several setbacks with her new flick, after authorities blocked her request to film some of the scenes in Bosnia.

But the ban was later overturned, prompting Ange herself to release a statement reassuring critics and fans.

'Obviously any dramatic interpretation will always fail those who have had a real experience. This is not a documentary,’ she said.

'There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature of the relationship between the main characters and that will be revealed once the film is released.’
