And naturally the internet has gone wild
Earlier this year, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their second baby, and, as with the birth of their first child, James, have kept most of the details under wraps for now. So we're yet to find out what they decided to name their new bundle of joy.
However, after posting a tweet that got all his fans speculating, he confirmed that he and his wife have indeed had a second baby girl. Congratulations to them both!
'Two [kids] under two is tough,' he said during an appearance on Conan. 'A lot of oestrogen. It's like an American Girl doll took a sh*t on my life.'
Earlier this month, eagle-eyed fans spotted the below post on Ryan Reynolds' Twitter, and reckoned they had cracked the case as to whether the couple in fact had a boy or a girl.
Fans were very quick to jump on the tweet and question whether this meant that his wife recently gave birth to another daughter. The hilarious quip about birth control aside, it definitely gives us some food for thought about the gender of their new baby, right?
Blake and Ryan were married back in September 2012, in a romantic ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina, with just 35 guests in attendance at the intimate affair.

Since their wedding, we've been fairly obsessed with the couple, with all the times they were just far too cute melting our hearts time and again. They've both previously talked about how they want a big family, so it was inevitable from the beginning that they were going to have children.
At the time, we noted that the tweet could easily have been about the couple's first daughter, James. Although she's coming up to two years old, having been born in January 2015, we're weren't sure if she had made the transition from crib to bed just yet.
Here's hoping we find out the couple's second daughter's name soon.
