Move over Bieber! Thousands of screaming fans gather for a glimpse of One Direction in Canada
Thousands of screaming girls lined the streets as One Direction arrived in Toronto for their first ever appearance on Canadian TV.
City officials were even forced to close the roads outside the Much Music studios as hordes of eager One Direction fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the boys.
Banner-clad fans were kept back behind barriers as they welcomed the cheeky British boyband, who are currently taking the pop world by storm.
Once inside the studios, 1D hysteria continued as the boys were mobbed by crowds of girls, with one throwing her bra onto the stage - which a bashful Louis caught.
One over-excited teen even fainted as Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson struggled through the crowds.
During the interview the boys spoke of their lives before international stardom with Louis revealing: 'I was still at school. My mum was still doing all my ironing and cooking all my food. Just a normal boy.'

Despite picking up the Best Single award at the Brits last week, Niall insisted the group are still grounded: 'This just shows you how common we are, we went to the biggest night in British music and went to McDonald's afterwards.'
The boys have also found a new fan in Lily Allen who showed her support for the boys, telling her Twitter fans: 'It's amazing how well One Direction are being received across the pond, no? Good luck to em I say, seem like good lads.' (sic)
The X Factor band are currently supporting US boyband Big Time Rush in America while their first UK and Ireland tour, Up All Night, which sold out in minutes, kicks off in February 2013.
