One Direction and Cheryl Cole beaten to first place on Young Rich List by Daniel Radcliffe

One Direction, Robert Pattinson and the Harry Potter stars feature in the richest stars under 30 list

One Direction are used to dominating the number one spot in the charts but there’s finally a list where they’ve been piped to the post and it’s by none other than Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

Of course Harry Styles and his band mates didn’t fair too badly in heat magazine’s 30 richest British stars under 30. One Direction’s estimated earnings of £26.3 million earned them fifth place leaving Hollywood’s finest to take the top four positions.

Daniel Radcliffe was named the richest Brit under 30 thanks to his healthy £53.3 million in the bank, although he was somewhat closely followed by his former Harry Potter co-stars, Emma Watson in fourth place and Rupert Grint in seventh.

Robert Pattinson and his numerous film projects saw him score second place with a £38.73million fortune. And he was closely following by Keira Knightley.

While Cheryl Cole may have been one of the judges during One Direction’s time on X Factor, she trailed behind the boys in ninth place.

The list was compiled by industry experts who asses TV shows, films, record sales and product endorsements to evaluate how much money each star earns.

The top 10 are as follows:
