Spokesmen have refused to comment on speculation the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting
Buckingham House spokesmen have once again refused to be drawn on rumours the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting, after an American magazine claimed it could 'confirm' Kate is 'around six weeks pregnant.'

Kate first sparked pregnancy talk after declining an invitation to eat peanut paste on a recent trip to Denmark, as well as wearing loose clothing to cover her stomach.
And now US publication In Touch has claimed it can ‘confirm’ the Duchess is expecting, adding the couple had already chosen potential name: 'Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, Alice or Rose for a girl.'
The magazine speculated the couple have even gone as far as deciding on nurseries, ‘one in Nottingham Cottage, where Kate and William have been staying, another near their home in Wales and yet another at Kensington Palace’.
But yesterday a Buckingham Palace spokesman refused to be drawn on the rumours, simply saying: ‘We do not comment on speculation.’

Last week officials issued a similar statement, which read: ‘This is not something we would confirm or deny.’
The Duke and Duchess have made no secret of their desire to start a family, revealing at the time of their engagement: ‘I think we'll take it one step at a time. We'll sort of get over the marriage thing first, then look at the kids. But obviously, we want a family.’
This is not the first time royal pregnancy rumours have surfaced.
In September spokesmen were forced to deny the Duchess was expecting twins, telling reporters: 'Suffice to say that were it true, it would be us that announces it, not a gossip magazine.'
