Nigella Lawson has caused outrage with her unusual tea habit
Is it EVER okay?

Is it EVER okay?
Words by Jadie Troy-Pryde
Nigella Lawson is a self-proclaimed domestic goddess, known for slinking about her house in the dead of night, donning a silky chemise and whipping up an indulgent treat.
The TV chef rarely gets it wrong and is known for her homely, comforting recipes, once even stating that the Great British Bake Off recipes were too 'complex' for her.
So it may not come as a surprise that she's pretty relaxed when it comes to her tea drinking etiquette, but her latest reveal has completely divided the internet.
Nigella confessed that when she drinks tea, she leaves the tea bag in the cup. And not just while she's letting the flavours brew, or for a few minutes while she lets it cool. She leaves the teabag in the entire time she's drinking it.
Of course, considering we're a tea guzzling nation, people have differing ideas about how the perfect cuppa is constructed but a lot of those people are horrified by Nigella's unusual hot drink habit.

People have been taking to Twitter to share their disgust, but Nigella isn't alone - others have agreed that this is their go-to tea move, too.
