Pussycat Doll dumped by Lewis Hamilton
Formula 1 winner Lewis Hamilton has split up with his Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, over the pressure to settle down and have a family.
The 24-year-old racing driver has called time on the relationship over reports that the sportsmen was not ready for marriage and children. The pair had been dating for nearly two years and the shock split comes after months of speculation that Hamilton was on the verge of proposing.
According to The Mirror, Lewis put the breaks on the relationship 10 days ago and made it clear to Nicole that there was chance of a reconciliation.
A source divulged to the newspaper: ‘He was feeling under pressure to take their union to the next level and he wasn’t wanting to become engaged, get married or think about having children.
‘He’s young, they spend an awful lot of time apart and he’s just not ready to leave his youth behind for a lifetime with Nicole.’
The source added: ‘Nicole’s mortified – she imagined being with Lewis for a long time and she’s shocked that things have ended so suddenly.’
