Nicole Kidman has made headlines this morning for an encounter with a photographer at Fashion Week who knocked her to the floor. Nicole had just left the front row of the Calvin Klein Collection show at New York Fashion Week where she mingled with Alexander Skarsgard, Rooney Mara and Anna Wintour.
On returning to the Carlyle Hotel in the city, Nicole was then knocked over as paparazzo Carl Wu attempted to take her picture. The star was knocked to the floor and lost her shoe, while Carl fell off his bike and onto the pavement. Ouch.
Nicole's assistants and the hotel staff rallied around the A-lister and helped her to her feet, but she was obviously incredibly embarrassed and distressed following the fall. Sources in the US are now saying that Nicole will press charges against the photographer, as he was cycling on the pavement, dangerously close to her, when it's thought his bike wheel caught the hotel's welcome mat.
An ambulance was called to the scene and Nicole was treated for an injury to her ankle.
TMZ reports that Carl was taken in for questioning by police, but later released. Poor Nicole, but at least she looked fabulous. We've experienced far less graceful falls!
