So, the hashtag relatable part of this isn’t that Nicki Minaj is currently celibate (although, you do you) but that apparently her current celibacy is because — and we quote — Nicki Minaj is very done with men.
Not to ruffle any feathers, but any straight woman who’s single and trying to mingle can definitely relate to that feeling. Rumours have been circulating that Nicki is dating Nas, and when Ellen DeGeneres asked Nicki about it in an interview, she confirmed she is seeing him and even said that they had a 'sleepover.'
She added: 'But no, let me clarify... we didn’t do the...'
'Nasty?' Ellen offered.

Nicki’s agreement led to a reveal of her overall feelings about dating and guys right now and, girl, same.
'I’m chillin’ right now. I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating any man. I hate men. But, I might make an exception to the rule for him,' said Nicki. We must add that she said 'I hate men' with a laugh.
While we fully respect – and again, seriously sympathise – with Nicki Minaj’s desire to spend a year without any real dating (because sometimes you just need your own time and space), it’s also nice to hear that she maybe has a good thing going with Nas. What’s maybe nicer to hear is that Nas seems to be okay with giving Nicki the space and distance she needs to be comfortable.
In other news: now seems like the perfect time to become Nicki Minaj’s best friend, so we’re going to try and make that happen, STAT.
