Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, a.k.a Neville Longbottom, has put a ring on it and married his fiancée Angela Jones.
The British actor, who announced the news on Monday via Twitter, joked with his fans that he had to miss one of his favourite bands The Arctic Monkeys performance to instead attend his own nuptials. Sorry, but it is kind of a big deal babe…
He wed his American girlfriend over the weekend in Italy in what looked like a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. Lewis is seen wearing a full black tuxedo in the sweet pic, as he walks in arm-in-arm with Jones.
His newly-appointed wifey Angela meanwhile sported a full-length ethereal-looking bridal gown with a high-necked lace top and a long trail cascading out. The magical pair were pictured looking completely ecstatic transfixed with wide grins on the big day.
The 28-year-old star, who subsequently became a bit of an unexpected heartthrob post-Harry Potter, has always been quite vocal about his love for partner Angela. He often talks openly on Instagram about his feelings for his other half.

In one particularly sweet shoutout, he said: ‘She’s the best thing in my life and inspires me to do and be better every single day. This one's for you, babe.’
How adorbs.
The cute couple first met at Florida’s Wizarding World fan event back in 2016, according to MetroUK. They then did long-distance love for a little while until Lewis dropped the big question in Paris just a few months later.
Angela described the special trip on her blog:
‘I never believed in soul mates until we met. We came from two different countries, 4,334 miles apart, and yet we were one and the same. A few months after meeting, he proposed to me in Paris during my first trip abroad. Yes, it’s been that kind of fairytale thing.’
Old co-stars of Matthew jumped to share their congratulations with the newlyweds. With Tom Felton, who played his nemesis Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, commenting on Instagram: 'Top lad x'
But do they get a wand salute as well, please?
